Training for counselling & psychotherapy services and organisationsI offer workshops, courses and seminars for counselling services and other organisations providing therapeutic services. I am also available as a guest tutor for counselling and psychotherapy trainings.
All my courses and workshops aim to provide space for both individual process and skills training, as well as theoretical and experiential learning. The training events, therefore, provide a blend of structures, from pairwork, experiential exercises and skills practice to role-plays and demonstrations. The teaching is usually supported by theoretical input appropriate to the experience of the group, backed up by hand-outs, papers and references.
I have been invited by a wide range of organisations to provide input on trauma and trauma work, ranging across a variety of themes from general trauma awareness to the neuroscience of trauma to somatic and integrative approaches to trauma work. I have a reputation for offering clearly structured, accessible and applicable input which participants find easy to assimilate and translate into their practice. I also receive feedback regarding the safety established within the group, both on professional and personal levels.
